About Cherie Roe Dirksen

So much is taken for granted on a daily basis and I want to bring to the forefront colour, vibrancy, frequency, pensiveness, wonder, reflection, action and energy through my passions.

My art is how I interpret the world around me, it is how I see this life – a palette of unbelievable colours and a sea of energy. The potential every living thing has and the knowledge that everything is a manifestation of the Divine Will is, in itself, pure magic.

I love the way you do the metallic whorls and little doodly things; I can’t imagine the patience that must take to do, but it really makes all of your work unique.

This looks great matted in black.

  • Thank you, Ginny! :)

absolutely lovely :-)) I have a couple of half-painted canvasses standing around, and I think, after seeing this, that I might just try some collage on them (no gesso in the house) … never tried it before!

  • Thanks, Barbara – You must try it! It is a different experience but a nice change from time to time…nice to just let go and let the inspiration flow! :) I’d love to see what you come up with…
