This is very mystical, like a fairytale. You have some beautiful work in your ‘folio.

  • Cherie Dirksen replied

I’m so glad you see it that way, I did this one ‘out of my head’ so it is supposed to by a mystical, dream-like forest. Thank you, Kay. :)

  • Cherie Dirksen replied

Oh, I must have a look at your folio and see which one you are talking about. I did this one from ‘imagination’ so I’d really like to know if there is such a place – maybe I’ve been there in a dream… :) Thanks for your comment, Caroline.

You know .. this is definitely not the same as the forest that grew up, overnight, in Max’s bedroom, but, it’s got a lot of the same feel to it.

I always wanted a room decorated like that. In view of that desire, I’d like one of these that is about 12 -foot in length! If only!

    This is gorgeous!

By the way, I* very much *Recommend this piece. So, if you are not already a member of the group ‘I Recommend’ you might want to nip off and find it, and submit this painting to them.

It really is full of.. I don’t know what you’d call it .. idyll? Ordinary fantasy? The sublimeness of nature?

    Whatever! I love it!

  • Cherie Dirksen replied

Oh I am so glad you sense that in this piece, I really was trying for a dreamy, mystical forest. I am thrilled you like it and thanks so much for your recommendation! ;)
