So, I am wondering how you make backgrounds like that? Do you actually hand draw all that out? Or is it digital, Adobe stuff? or stencils or what? .. .if you don’t mind my asking, that is.

At any rate, however you do it, it is very effective. This is beautiful!

  • Cherie Dirksen replied

It is hand drawn. I first paint the background black then do the details with a gold acylic paint liner.

just gorgeous! I have to ask, the liner, is that like a pen? looks fab!

  • Cherie Dirksen replied

Thanks, Marie. The liner is a plastic ‘pen’ that holds acrylic paint, it gives you a lot of control but clogs up a lot, which isn’t so great :)

  • Cherie Dirksen replied
