My 7D works a treat for shots like these. With 8 frames/sec you can fire off a burst of shots, and pick the best one.
It still amazes me when I do this because the camera rattles away like a machine gun. (Yes, I really have fired real ones.)
Yeah, I didn’t quite level the horizon, but hard to do that wearing a helmet. Not sure it matters anyway.
