Looks like it’s taken through glass, but not sure, or maybe that’s your lens with water droplets? You put your camera on a tripod by the water and took it with a remote? Ok…I give up ; )
I wouldn’t have thought of that, but thanks for the laugh. No, the clue is that the gull is brightly lit even though the sun reflects on the water behind. I don’t know how often people do this, but here I used a flash. The water drops are off the bird’s feet.
