For those of you who have been wondering what has become of my commenting (and hopefully my work) over the past week – your answer has come.
I apologize for my unwanted hiatus.
The remnants of hurricane Ike came ripping through my city last sunday.
500,000 were without power – our building was among them.
My husband and I “camped” for 7 days until it was finally restored (much to my great joy).
Now there are only 44,000 without power left (i feel for them).
I will be catching up on your art lives (and my own) over the next few days :]
