G’day Chelsea,

What a ripper of a kiddie portrait you have made!!!!!
He is a great li’l model and I can see the very good rapport between him, the camera and you.
The nice tight framing/cropping work very well with that head angle and emphasises the boy’s young face, expressive eyes and lovely smile.
The depth of field is just right for a head shot and the focus is superb, concentrating just where it should be – on the eyes.
As a B&W this image holds very good, well controlled contrast and highlights as well as a great tonal range.
When viewing this portrait of a young boy I feel a sense of joy, freshness and perhaps even love.

I remember 17! I also remember when my two daughters reached 17!! It can be exhilarating and daunting at the same time but most of all it can be exciting. You have good ambitions and you seem to possess that “have a go” attitude which will get you far. I wish you all the very best in your pursuits and hope you do well with them and with life itself.

u’r recent submissions on the BubbleJeopardy group are great? but don’t really follow those guidelines as there’s no ‘question’ of what they are? Such a beautiful child with those EYES!!!!!

i don’t think it’s fair for boys to have long lashes…big beautiful eyes…dimples…or even curly hair….._sigh.....just isn’t fair
