wow, gross. I very strong juxstapostion between the innocent cuteness of the girl and the inherently devious and conniving snake – which is also butchered for added disgust. Bravo!
To be critical however, I would say that the piece needs more contrast with the shade and colors. You do have true black and true white, but the I prefer (with my photographer’s eye) a bit more depth. I am not trying to insult here or be too critical, but it’s nice when we can grow as artists from a constructive comment. I wish it happened more to my work! AHHHHHH!!! People always throw me the, “wow, that’s great.” What am I supposed to do with that? It is a pebble in my desert of motivation.
Though, I wouldn’t want to detract from your overall style. Your pictures have the same somewhat desaturated feeling that might be destroyed by strong contrast.
Interesting critique from FreedInPieces, but I think your work stands proud as it is. I do see what she means about the contrast though, but that may be the fault of the scan. My scanner doesn’t often get the contrast right and I have to tweak it a bit. Excellent work!

this is beautiful just as it is… your very talented!
I like this, pretty dark (in i phsycological way) all your works really interesting, i also like the subtle style and the way it looks a bit old and faded, i think the contrast is acheived by putting innocent and devious characters side by side. well done :)
Snake is showing me that you can bring sweetness and diabolic things together and will have a great effect on children psychic. I am sure many children would listen that story again and again when little girl invite her toy friends for snake tea party.
