I suppose for exactly that reason.They know he isn’t real.The object of desire is perfect in it’s unreality, it can’t be touched and damaged by fragile realities.It’s when the lines between reality and fantasy get blurred that it gets strange and scary.Or something to that effect..anyway, brilliant artwork and concept :-)
