MY MOM
Colored pencil on paper 8”X11”
At last I finished it. MY MOM.
For my Art school project trying to draw my mom, it’s was little bit hard for me to concentrate & draw her(she passed away 14 years ago)as if it was yesterday.
She was a sister I never had…....my best sister, the greatest friend I never had…....there’s no one could take the place of *my Dear Mom.

Philip Rogan,
Wow. Really lovely portrait of your Mom and I know something of how you feel as my Dad died in 1993 and though it did not really hit me so hard back then, now that I am a father I miss him as I would have loved him to be a great grandad. She looks a very strong woman.
cheetaah in reply to Philip Rogan’s comment,
I think….Only the one who is soooo close to their parents are the one who feel the pain that they are gone for good…..She was very smart, clever, giver, quiet, hard worker…….. she was my mom, my best and only friend and a sister to me……died so young(62)taking care of us(7 kids)and not herself……
cheetaah in reply to Philip Rogan’s comment,
Forgot to thank you for your great comment, it means a lot to me. Also don’t forget my mom and your father are our own angels.
cheetaah in reply to Jan Landers’s comment,
