David on the Horse

This one is done by *india ink on canvas used only crow quill, last year (2006) during my home study, I called my teacher had some questions to ask & he said it can’t be done india ink/crow quill on canvas bcs of it’s ruff surface, when someone tells me it can’t be done, I do my best to make it good. The picture is not clear, but if you look closely the shades are *dotted.

It’s one of my favorite, hope someone will like it.

Original on Canvas is available for sale.

nice work with intelligent rendering, to refer back to rachelle’ comment I think etching or lithography would also provide great mediums to realise this type of image.

hi pal, queston? you asked, i never listed to buy because, when i first when on redb, i was putting on photos taken with my creap camera and the quality of my photos were not good enough to sell as cards- so i just left my art for display so pals might see what i was doing, if i had a good camera and lay out i,d be happy to sell as cards or prints, i live on a fixed income, so it is all i can do to just buy paint, and grounds for my paintings, two ot three nice people on redb offered to help me know how to show better, but i did not the money to invest ina better camera or things i need to show my art better, so that iss why i do sell my art local though and my? habit does pay for it self but only enough to buy paints, so see haha i am a starving artist, but it is ok i once was rich, and had my time, on top but it is nice of you to ask, i am having too much fun to worry about? stuff, that makes money, hope your day goes well, we are back to cold, snow an rain here ugh hugz pal

thank you once again, I have had and a lot of others too lost people on their watchlist, and its a bit worrying as i would not like to upset anyone as they have been so kind to me, now i keep a writtent list just in case, only a few of my pictures are watercolors but mainly its pastels, well for now anyway, and at the moment photos, hee hee my daughter has given me her 3 year old digi camara and normally most of my photos have had heads missing or a thumb showing but i am a star when it comes to feet lol dawn

Love the detail and the strong contrast between the black and the white. Good to see that you do not let the opinions of others even your teacher stop you from trying out something and I really like what you achieved
