This poet is written by William Saroyan, the one in the picture is him 1908-1981
William Saroyan’s Poem:
I SHOULD LIKE TO SEE
ANY POWER OF THE WORLD DESTROY THIS RACE,
THIS SMALL TRIBE OF UNIMPORTANT PEOPLE,
WHOSE WARS HAVE ALL BEEN FOUGHT AND LOST,
WHOSE STRUCTURES HAVE CRUMBLED, LITERATURE IS UNREAD, MUSIC
IS UNHEARD, AND PRAYERS ARE NO MORE ANSWERED.
GO AHEAD, DESTROY ARMENIA SEE IF YOU CAN DO IT.
SEND THEM INTO THE DESERT WITHOUT BREAD OR WATER.
BURN THEIR HOMES AND CHURCHES.
THEN SEE IF THEY WILL NOT LAUGH,
SING AND PRAY AGAIN.
FOR WHEN TWO OF THEM MEET ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD,
SEE IF THEY WILL NOT CREATE A NEW ARMENIA.

ALL war and ALL genocide MUST END!!!!
To remember what humanity is capable of in both extremes.
To stop the perpetuation of hate.
Ggod have mercy.
A most important post today, Kouyrig Hasmig.

Ahh Cheetaah..so very pertinant….....in War EVERYONE loses…...In Aus today Preachers will be calling for prayers for the Lost Australians…..when the prayers should be for HUMANITY and ALL who died in the Wars….......I believe that those who START the Wars should also go out and FIGHT the wars maybe then they will think more than twice…...Thank you for this ..Prayers for all who suffered and are suffering…......

Do to others what you would prefer done to you
Consideration for those around you
Responsibility for your own actions
Tolerance for the lack of knowledge in others
assist them to learn and understand other views
Look for the answers to the cause don’t just relate to the symptoms
Find the similarities and strengthen those
and respect the differences for their individuality and thus interest
and Keep Happy!
War will then fade into the realms of un-required … hopefully! :o)
