Attn: Childhood Group Members

Hello Childhood Group Members,

Here is a review of the bubble mail I sent to the childhood group members last week. I decided to post a copy in the journal, so that new members who did not receive this email can be informed and all members can refer back to.

I just wanted to take a minute to sincerely thank everybody for joining and sharing some beautiful portraits, photographs, images, and art of children. I am thrilled with the level of talent, and even more so the synergy of this group. This site is all about our love for children and our ability to capture those precious childhood moments in time that pass us by so quickly.

Just a few reminders on this group’s rules:

1. All images must feature or have children in them. They can interact with a pet, freind, sibling, in a group, or adults, however this group is for members to share works of children photography and art OF children.

2. Images of childhood activities, toys, etc. only apply if there are children in the photo / image as well.

3. As per Red Bubble’s restrictions, no nudity except for babies, but please use your discretion. Rule of thumb would be if the child is a toddler or older then the no nudity rule would apply, however innocent it may be.

4. Snapshots and editorial style photography is not for this group. The Children Photograpy / Art posted here should have some artistic and creative quality. There should have some commercial value as well. This is a group that I would like to give additional exposure to members leading to more sales.

If I do have to remove an image, please know that it has nothing to do with the quality of your work or how much I or anybody else likes it. It just simply would be if the work does not belong in this group.

Anyways, the Christmas season is quickly approaching, so it is the perfect time to share some Children, Christmas images, stories. I really look forward to seeing your work.

Also, any member who has made a sale of any images you have posted in this group .. feel free to brag! We’d love to hear from you.

Again, I encourage members to share your techniques and also stories of your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, students, friend’s children, etc. … (you get the picture.)

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to bubble mail me!

Thank you again,

Betsy
