In light of Mother’s Day coming up, I really wanted to share a funny story about my daughter that just happened. A few minutes ago, my 3 year old daughteer (the one in SMILE, LITTLE SISTER, and a bunch of other images I have posted here) asked me. “Why don’t we have boyfriends” (she was referring to herself and her 5 year old sister…) and I said, “Because you are only three years old.” and she said, “Oooooh!” and I said, “Don’t worry, you will have plenty of boyfriends when you get older. You are beautiful.” and I asked her “Why?, Do you want a boyfriend now?” and she said, “Yes.” And I asked what would you do with a boyfriend if you had one???” And she said, “I just want to kiss him… that’s all.” I guess she is influenced by too many older sisters. LOL
Anyways, I don’t normally share personal stories, but she is constantly saying the funniest things anymore. I never write it down, and I don’t want to forget. I just wanted to share this with everybody. Have a great day ALL …...

They are so precious Betsy aren’t they? These and many more stories will come your way all through their beautiful lives and you must write them down. Thank you for sharing that lovely moment with us. I have many stories from my lads when they were small I must did them out and give you a laugh. Could be the makings of another competition? LOL

THANKS EVERYBODY!!! I know … everyone has their own stories like this cause kids are just so darn cute. They see things from such a different perspective. Everthing is so new to them and makes them curious. Tony … you’re right… this would make for an awesome competition. Maybe once I build my Childhood website, I will add a section where everybody can tell their cute kid stories and have contests from time to time. That would be a lot of fun. Robin, you said it “From the mouth of basbes. PRICELESS!” Kelly, yeah … they do grow up too fast. The time span that they are babies and toddlers go the fastest…She is the youngest of 7 children, so I am trying to hold onto these precious moments as long as I can while she and her 5 year old sister are still very young.

How adorable!! 3 yrs old eh? Kids say the darnest things don’t they? I absolutely love to listen to my g-kids talk and play! Their imaginations are truly original. I wish I could just have an automtic recorder set to always record their conversations when they are here. Even the 9 yr old comes up with some pretty good ones because she is developing a keen sense of humor and she just cracks me up sometimes! I could tell so many stories, but something I remember so very clear(not a story really just how words are formed)is that my daughter used to say “piss” for kiss and “crapaw” for grandpa, so everytime we would leave she would have to tell grandpa, “crapaw div me a piss.” I am telling you it was all I could do to keep from laughing but I knew if I did she would get upset, so I just smiled. On the same line of thinking, my grandson was just here the other day and said,”Oma I wanna see da piss,” and I just stood there speechless. Then he took my hand and led me to the fishbowl!! “The Fish” I truly do enjoy your pictures for the very reason that they are filled with the joy of chidren. I honestly DO NOT understand how people can hurt little ones, it’s just beyond my thinking, They are so very precious.

Angel, oh my gosh … that is soooo funny how your daughter and grandson mixed up those words. That made me LOL!!!! I have so much more to say on the subject but have to get to bed. It is almost 1:00 AM here, and we are headed out of town tomorrow. Will try to respond better soon….
