Dare To Soar
I just can’t seem to get off of this whole lollipop theme. I think it embodies the whole “magic of childhood” theme I am always reaching for. The girls certainly enjoyed modeling when I handed them the lollipops. LOL!!! Anyways, I wanted to create an atique-ish looking image, but still have a sort of fantasy / surreal look to it. I changed the girls photos to black and white, then added the color back in to give it a muted, vintage feel. This, not only looks beautiful as a print, but it makes a lovely “motivational” sort of greeting card for someone who either needs lifted up, encouraged, or congratulated. Thanks for checking this one out.

Jeff and Miss Milly, I so appreciate your meaningful and super nice comments!!!
I agree with you, Miss Milly. I want a lollipop and a princess dress too. Oh, how simple life could be!
The sad thing is shortly after taking these pictures, the little one accidentally broke her sister’s lollipop, and she kept saying, “I’m sorry … you can have mine,” but unfortunately that didn’t cheer her up at all, and she just ran off crying. But then, 2 minutes later, they were best friends again.

Ah geez, thanks, Gary. You made me smile. Yes, I guess I am lucky that I can find models who will gladly work for lollipops. It’s a shame that the older models are more finicky. LOL. If only they all would work for lollipops!
