Bonegilla Window, Bonegilla, Victoria, Australia by

The Bonegilla Migrant Camp, operated between 1947-1971, was Australia’s first, largest, and longest operating migrant reception centre. It was the first Australian home for over 300,000 post-war migrants from over 50 countries.

I wonder how many people looked out this window, who they were, where they came from and what they may have been thinking about as they considered their new life in a strange land.
