Hi Heather! This is very beautiful too! But personally, I actually did love the darker one, there was something about it all because of the climate and everything. It had a beautiful glow! That’s how I feel. Your work is always so perfect, go with your instincts Heather!

Excellent capture Heather! The lighting is just right. Brrr though,it must have been so cold taking this capture! The snow is so deep and that sky is amazing! I never would have thought a skidder could look so artistic but you made it look so awesome!

I think it looks fantastic,Heather,as the tractor is a focal point of interest it needs a small amount of highlighting to stand out,you would have to be happy with this,a brilliant image,you have been rewarded for the freezing conditions you had to endure,well done!!!

The scene and lighting are beautiful, but the compostion seems a little off, in my eyes at least. The shot craves more space on the right hand side. I don’t know what actually would work, not having actually been there, but perhaps by getting in closer and taking a shot that was less “straight on”, or by not trying to get the whole vehicle in the image, and instead drawing more attention to the sun and trees, it could be improved.

I hope you don’t mind criticism, if only to balance out the huge amount of (well earned) praise.

I prefer the original shot. The tweaking put too muck yellow in the sky and darkened the skidder. However, both of them are terrific. Best wishes, Bill
