I was confused and amused by the actual location of this motel in Warsaw New York. The direction of the arrow pointed straight to the sky. I walked east up a hill and still never found it.

Fantastic Ronda! Love the glimpse of life we get into the windows. The sign.. classic, wonder where the motel actually is?!

Wow, cool find! Did you walk the entire 1 1/4 miles? Love the little white crosses in the windows.

  • I guess I didn’t go far enough. Stephanie (who was born in Warsaw) explained that it was at the very top of the hill. I was walking and just didn’t see it!!

I was born in Warsaw, New York. :)
The Motel is just at the very tip-top of that steep hill (the one that the railroad crosses above; called East Hill by locals) just beyond an old bowling alley.

  • I am just amazed that I couldn’t find it. It is such a small town. I loved it! I was only visiting but I will never forget it! THANK YOU so much Stephanie for clearing this up.

    You’re so welcome!
I lived 25 years of my 33 in that area. I miss it sometimes. It will always be the place that I call “home”. :)

  • Your a lucky girl! This is a wonderful little town!
