oh Ronda ,, this is lovely…. the duck egg blue tones on the rendered wall compliments the black rail & grey stairs superbly…. an instant fave my darling… I LOVE IT…

Up the stairs, along the wall to the light, back to the bottom of the stairs. Up the stairs, notice the little metal cleat at the top, along the wall to the lamp and back to the bottom of the stairs. Up the stairs … oh, another cleaty thing … perhaps, once, there was a handrail here … maybe before they installed the metal balustrade. and, looking back there is a small hole, where a third cleat may have been. I wonder …
