Merry Christmas Everbody!!! Here at VivaChas! we drove to the far-reaches of the great state of Texas our adopted home in search of the elusive early-season snow-fall. Now much of the Lone-Star-State lies in semi-tropical, tropical and seriously hot climes and rarely if never sees snow. But we heard a rumor of some light snow a bit North of Amarillo – which is probably the farthest North major city in Texas if you don’t count the original borders of the state that ran up through Colorado, Oklahoma and as far as Wyoming – I think ~:0)
Anyway – long/short – we went where we had to (New Mexico) get a snow shot for our Christmas Card and shot two versions – now naturally we shoot dozens of photos when we do a set-up but usually narrow everything down to just one “chosen” pix from the lot. But in this case we wanted a “respectable” Christmas shot with a nice truck and tree in it and then one specifically for the Hot-Rod PinUp site for the folks that prefer a bit of cheesecake with their “Holiday” card – Ha!
So here we have it – here at VivaChas! we have both images up and at some third party sites we’re going with the more demur foto – what fun pandering to so much variety in tastes – I miss the days – – – well, why go there ~:0)
A warm fire from the amazing flames painted on this great looking truck – it’s a Chevy isn’t it? A friendly face with presents – if you’re looking at that version of the image and My Kind of Christmas Tree – huge Texas Star atop for those of you still ogling the lovely model in the PinUp version – any-how – Merry Christmas to All and to All a Grand New Year ~:0) VivaChas! (p.s. I’m sure most of U reckon that we first shot just the truck versions and then set up the presents and lovely Miss Roxie for the Pin Up shot to keep the snow as tidy as possible – got to stop telling all me secrets ~;0)
