This is How it All Happened! – - – Time to all join in on a rousing rendition of Texas Our Texas! This 41 Plymouth Two-Door is a Texas gem. Met the owner of this little bewdy at the Lester’s Garage Car Show in Boerne few weeks back. One of the finest women I’ve me in a long time. She knew the importance of this 41 Plymouth she and her hubby owned. Still do own it! She had all the paper-work from the car. Flyers – manual – even the little Texas flag came with the ride back in the day. ~:0)
Someone asked me if this 41 Plymouth was a hot rod. I politely said no. I think this beautiful classic 41 Plymouth would be considered a vintage car. It is all original. And it is a favorite driver for the owners. I’m searching right now for a similar restoration daily driver me own self. It will definitely have what’s known as Vintage Aire. That’s modern air conditioning that fits right in with the rest of the car. – Ha! No need to sweat if U don’t have to. Guess that means I’m no purist! ~:0)
Me old chum Wayne – fellow hot rodder – came along with us on this one as technical advisor. What a great friend is he. It’s a good thing to have wise associates in Ur circle. Helps make even a duffer like meself look better than I am. Wayne and his wife Barbara have been hot rodders all their lives and have owned and driven some fab rides. Olewhat’shername and me are a lucky pair to have friends like those two. ~:0)
That’s the thing about a good church and a great avocation like hot rodding. U meet up with the finest of folks. Add to that a great garage like Lester’s in Boerne and U meet even more nice people. I’d much rather hang out with folk finer than meself than other way round. Just makes sense! Anyway – great 41 Plymouth! Certainly gives a Ford or Chevrolet vintage a run for their money. And it’s a good deal more rare if Ur into that sort of thing. Sort of lends meaning to the chaos out there. Things are good in the Texas Hill Country. We’re glad we found this part of the world! ~:0) VivaChas!
