The Story – - – Okay this is one bewdy of a Mustang GT 500 we photographed in anticipation of the 50th Anniversary Mustangs Across America Drive upcoming. The MAA Drive will be April 10 – 16 of 2014. Don’t even know how many of us will be around for the event but I’ll tell U where it’s going. ~;0)
The drive is Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Cruces, Midland, Dallas, Jackson, Atlanta and ending up in Charlotte. Some of U may note that the Mustang GT 500 pictured has the MAA banner at the top of its windshield. If U want more info on the Drive their website is http://mustangsacrossamerica.com/.
They’ve got the forms for registering for the event. But let’s talk about this bewdy of a Mustang as we saw it up in the Texas Hill Country.
This Mustang GT 500 is traditional Ford Racing colors and stripes and that’s a mighty fine look for a racing inspired Ford. What am I saying? This GT 500 strikes me as track ready as it sits. If the sound of the mill is any indicator this thing is in competitive form! That bulging hood (bonnet for U metrix crowd) is swollen with more than 500 ponies. It must be crowded in there b/c they sounded as though they wanted out as a half-dozens donuts were cut in the tarmac that evening.
U know U don’t has to have a Mustang GT 500 to have fun with Ur own rod. Just check out the local clubs and car groups out Ur way and participate! Yeh – have fun with Ur driving machine. It’s not just for commuting to ur dead end job U know – Ha! Get out have some fun ~:0) VivaChas!
