The VivaChas! Story

There’s a new sheriff in town here at VivaChas! – - – We have a story to tell U about what it is we do with all these cool photos we make. Long-Story-Short, VivaChas! uses half the proceeds from the sale of the Hot Rod images here to make a difference in the world. We got the idea for making giving a major part of our business plan from the book by the founder of TOM’S Shoes, Blake Mycoskie’s – “Start Something That Matters” – it’s all about integrating helping others in need into Ur business from the very start & that’s what we’re doing here at VivaChas! ~:0)

The mob here at VivaChas! works out of what we call “The Club House” that is a small building on the property where Chas lives & works – we rely on third party venues for printing and shipping, so the only expenses outside production are web-site related and that’s very low. So what sort of donations do sales at VivaChas! support with the “profits” from Hot Rod, Rat Rod & Pickup Art Photographs?

For starters VivaChas! supports the work at World Vision International. There we and U can provide on a monthly basis the money needed by children in the needy places of the world. Right now we’re helping a one year old girl in Guatemala – As funds become available more will be done there to supply water and other necessities many of us take for granted. We also suggest U support a child through World Vision urself – here’s a link – http://www.wvi.org – That’s a great place for U to start helping as well ~:0)

Now for closer to home. About 400 miles North of our Texas Hill Country Clubhouse is the town of Abernathy, Texas just outside Lubbock. There the hard-working staff help kids & teens learn what real love is all about – self-less love and direction for youth is what they do. The Love Shack is a genuine non-profit just as is World Vision – just closer to home so-to-speak – Go to The Love Shack site – http://www.abernathyloveshack.org – and read their story. They step into the midst of a need in their community and make a difference. Help us help them; or help them directly through their site. VivaChas! supports The Love Shack with a monthly donation – - – U could do that as well either directly or by buying Hot Rod or Hill Country Art from VivaChas! ~:0)

Let’s face it kids and teens are the world’s future. By supporting world relief and regional relief folks, we here at VivaChas! are pitching-in where and how we can. U can jump in where U want – it’s up to U ~:0) Our goal is for giving to remain a lasting part of our business plan as it is in our everyday lives ~:0)

That reminds me about local giving. VivaChas! in a focus of global giving, regional giving and local giving provides locally from our own income from VivaChas! – Hot Rodney Hot Rods – and other sources as we think them up in the future! Additionally, I – Chas Sinklier the photographer behind VivaChas! – teach college students about the Way, the Truth and the Light – along with PhotoShop and other Art classes ~:0)

So – when U buy a VivaChas! print, half what we call “the Profit” – above printing & shipping goes to World Vision, The Love Shack and other non-profits as our bit in helping our fellow man. So there U have it. The VivaChas! story as it now stands.
