I captured this shot of workers emerging out of the fog while on my beautiful italian adventure. It had laid dormant on a disc until i started putting a dvd together.
When I saw it on the big screen, I was mesmerized. What is an ordinary, everyday occurence to the men in the boats racing to work, seems quite heroic and magical to me.
Best viewed in the larger format. I hope you enjoy this image as much as I do.

Ah!!! – La Bella Venezia! It is magical! Makes me weep for it.. I do hope i see HER again! In the meantime will have to enjoy HER through the lens of your camera!

Even this size made me think about how much water there is, Sooz (before reading your explanation). Tend to see more of the narrow canals between interesting buildings. I like the way the bodies of the men are all looking so animated. Simply like the whole picture.
