Canal of Dreams featured in The One Great Shot Group 2008.
For the longest time I dreamed of a wild adventure in Italy. In April 2008 that dream became an extraordinary reality.
With heightened, rich, vibrant colours canal of dreams creates an almost painterly impression of beautiful Venice. Canal of dreams is a personal favourite. It is a reminder of the adventure of a lifetime, the many bridges I crossed and the memories that linger on. I hope one day to return to my Canal of dreams.

Like this one too! Just dreaming now but, say I won Lotto tomorrow and searched out these places you’ve captured and photographed them too, I’ll bet my (impressionist/ painterly-) style would be quite different from yours.

With strict copyright rules on reference matierial, my goal in going to Italy was to create a resource that I can use for many years to come. You are a brilliant artist so I am sure your style would be different from mine as you are one of those people who inspires others to paint.
