A wonderful bird is the pelican,
His bill can hold more than his belican.
He can take in his beak
Enough food for a week;
But I’m damned if I know how the helican.

Pelicans on Parade reside on the Central Coast, NSW.

I actually slipped and fell into the Grand Canal in Venice while trying to get that “one great shot”. A few months later, new camera and nothing has changed. Here I am in the water – that’s my big bum in the forgeound, jeans rolled up, camera in hand .. having the time of my life.
Every day is an adventure and there is so much yet to discover.

Great job Hun…
A marvelous bird is the pelican.
His beak can hold more than his belly can.
he can store in his beak
enough food for a week
and I don’t know how the hell ‘e can.
I used this same quote in my work The Pelican …and here is what I learned about it’s source:
“The Pelican” (1910) by Dixon Lanire Merrith is another poem often misattributed to Ogden Nash
Misattributions – from Wikiquotes
