As you know, I LOVE taking Pelican shots. Today I was out dancing in the rain as we darted around the Central Coast capturing shots of nature’s own comedians.
Naturally I got soaking wet and took loads of photos, many of which I hope to upload and use in a variety of projects I am working on.
But for the moment, please enjoy this sneak peek of just a few from today’s outing. Okay 50 is a bit more than a few :-)

I am probably only going to load about 6 on to RB and some of them aren’t even in the collage and Percy the Private Detective is my favourite too. He was so smart, waiting for fish to come out the pipe. It took me ages to work it out lol

I love this collage Suzie, very effective. You sure love these critters.. i know something of the affection you have for them, for i also have a fascination for them.
I can imagine you dancing in the rain chasing after them.. sounds like you had much fun.

It was lots of fun Patricia and a little scary when I am sitting right next to them and a wing flaps and brushes over my face, I loved it!
BTW you are most welcome to use any of my pelican shots as reference material for your beautiful watercolours – if the mood takes you on this path :-)

Thank you so much Doreen. 50 images was just the tip of the iceberg. I now have a personal collection of well over three thousand pelican images. (700 taken on this outing) I love them :-)

Wow, thank you so much.
Due to the overwhelming community love of Pelicans I am now considering loading the 650 from this shoot onto RB one by one ROFL (kidding)
