I believe in fairies
Here’s evidence that fairies really do exist :-D
Actually this is one of a series of family photos that hang in my house. that I organised a couple of years ago. I wanted to capture my family as they really were. We were always dressing up and my daughter had a fairy themed party every birthday.
I took this photo of the original through a glass frame, then added a sepia finish to give it an old world feel .. as if it was found in a forgotten box in the attic .. proof that fairies do exist.
I am loading it for Ginger … who wanted to see my fairy outfit.
And btw Ginger … notice how slim the tree makes me look ROFL
I will try and get a clearer copy and load it another time.
Till then
enjoy :-D

Wonderful photo to have as a memory, I only have boys, and while it would have been cute while they were young, I would say they would have taken it off the wall and hidden it away so their friends would not see it. ;))

LOL I have boys too. We took similar shots of them with their dad and fishing rods. We tied rocks to the end of the rods to add to the effect but my youngest son really thought he could catch a few fish with his rock. Perhaps he was intending to donk a few on the head?

I hope this was taken at the bottom of your garden.
Dropped off and picked up my son and the young lady he was taking there (fellow student at the Macdonald College), at a birthday party, where the house was well up above the street. Where the path leading up to the house was decorated with fairy-lights. The house was decorated with fairy lights!!!
Thanks for bringing back, yet again, another memory.

Tried so hard to briefly explain and left out that the memory is at least about 12 years old.

ROFL I am glad we bring back memories for you of fairy lights.
For me this brings back memories of the fairy room I painted for her and playing with bubbles and dancing and going shopping with my son kneeling in the front of the trolley wearing one of my shirts, arms open wide pretending to be a butterfly.:-D
MrJoop
Since 1967, I have never said butterfly, while teaching primary. The principal (friend), at Hay Public School used the word flutterby and it stuck. Always said it with a straight face.
(Don’t tell the fairy, on the left of this picture that I showed you her, and her brother and one of her best friends, when they were still being fairies, in their last year of secondary education.)
