A stitch in time
My eldest is about to start his last year of high school.
Every time I think about it, I get emotional. It seems only yesterday that he was this cute toddler with a big smile and an even bigger heart.
This portrait takes my breath away because it is a stitch in time .. a fleeting moment that I will never capture again.
He has grown up so fast and into such a wise and compassionate young man. He no longer needs me.
I love the look on his face as he concentrates on his school project. He wanted to do it himself but at the same time, wanted to sit nearby me just in case he needed my help..
He didn’t.
