The love boats
For the longest time I dreamed of a wild adventure in Italy. In April 2008 that dream became an comical reality when I accidentally fell into the Grand Canal in Venice!
Yes .. I slipped and fell into the Grand Canal wearing my best woolen coat, David Jones skirt and new boots. (See journal entry)
So here is the photo taken a few moments before I fell. Next time I think I will just buy a postcard lol !
Venice is the city of love and even in the rain, this silent trio look oh so romantic.

Can’t believe you fell in and your camera lived to tell the tale! Glad it didnt get ruined! Hard on the clothes though. I hope someone captured the moment for you. This is beautiful. The graceful shapes of the boats and the blue of their covers are a lovely bright spot on a misty looking day.
