Wow. Stuff like this blows me away… So I Googled it and I gotta say I had NO idea these things existed!! So it takes 120 film and I thought ‘rats, my Brownie Starmite (yeah, I bought it myself in the 60’s and so what if I’m that old ?!) uses 127 and there’s no way they’re gonna still make TWO antique films in 2011…’ So I Googled that too, and it seems there are two manufacturers in the whole world still making 127 film…
So thanks to you I just might take the brownie out for a spin one of these days! Now, if I can only find a flash bulb somewhere…:-)
… wow, Removable lens for super-wide-angle pinhole shots? No wonder yer hooked!!!
yup its amazing, that a piece of plastic can bring me so much joy. I will probably have to mortgage my house to develop the film but oh well. until I get my own darkroom I have to accept that! I’m all over film cameras now. I’ve had so many films developed lately, i must sort out some scans asap. I’m brilliant thanks, I kinda forgot I had this profile, thought I’d give it a refresh and put some life into it. hope your well!
this camera makes me envy you in every possible human emotion that involves envy as the source of how I feel about you and this awesome camera you own! And here I am stuck with fujica st801 and nikon d60 to keep me company! :( NAh! just kidding! :-) That camera looks like alot of fun and I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on one myself and see what it can do! Oh and welcome and thank you for joining “where it all began”! :)
ha. well a; good photographer can make great pictures with any tools :P but seriously some of my favourite pictures have come from toy cameras or cheap 35mm… my friend adele is amazing photographer, and all her work is from old kodak and casio cameras from ebay and charity shops.
That is very true, I like taking a lot of pictures whenever I’m out to get that “full story” so no moment is missed. The funny thing is though I probably should be more worried about getting more space on my harddrive then gettting another camera right now haha!
