    Great shot.
    Love the lighting.
The B&W adds to the feeling of the pic.

This is a good portrait, just a little too much light, you could darken it a bit more to increase the shadow effect and bring out more detail in the face. ( you asked for feedback :) She is cute.

no its fine..im nto offended by criticism as long as people are just being mean for the sake of it… the only way i can get better is knowing what i could do better or at least in different ways cause i suppose at the end of the day its all subjective..Ill take your advice into mind and go have a play around with the image later.
ha and watch yoyr mouth that me mum yr talking about!! ha.. im joking.. im pretty sure shell be glad to know someone thinks shes cute.

Be it your mother or not, this is a wonderful profile shot. The light on the hair covering the eye is a great capture. The diamond adds that wee bit of light at just the right place in the framing. And yes, your mother is very photogenic and has quite a lovely look about her.

no one can tell you how this portrait should look, only you know. this is of your mun maybe she is your light, your guide through life. this is personal portrait and tells alot about how you feel about her at this moment.. you admire her as a woman and her beauty.

Great shot, I like the lighting, there’s enough light and shadowswhere there needs to be to make the shot draw you in.

This is great, the portrait and the honesty in the comments. What could be done better? Not much. After looking at your profile too, all small pieces in a jigsaw where you can’t see the whole but can imagine it!

super work.. you’ve captured your mum in a super natural pose and in nice light too..there’s just enough light on the face to show detail but the shadow then kicks in just at the right time for me

nice work…lighting and shadows work well – perhaps not seeing all the details adds a bit of an air of intrigue… as most women should have
