This was the first time I ever worked with a model. I wanted to portray some emotion, and I think it worked. I used a small lense to show the linear look from toe to head more dramacticly.

These are some of my best images…. the “art” of my eye. i hope you enjoy them.
My favorite of this series……………………beautiful image.
The light is great! Well done
Love the colors, the emotion such as it is, in this series, and the simplicity of the lines. I really like how the angle works here, the word for this is caught in a brain-freeze. When i first studied figure drawing, I was stuck on the fact that the perceived size of body parts is about opposite of their visual size. So my drawings of head and chest were always large and trunk on down were tiny. Nope, doesn’t work that way. This is a good series, imho, Charles. You’re onto a good track. Keep going!!
Thanks soo much for your comments. I really do appreciate them. I knew when I took this shot that the foot would be very prominent, but because of the high key , I hoped the black hair would draw focus back tot the subject. I think it works. Mind you, I was limited in space to work with, so I really did not have much of a choice. Thanks again
