Reaching Out by Charlie

This is an old oak tree on the property of Georgia’s oldest orphanage/school for boys, ages 6-18, founded in the late 1700s, called Bethesda. The tree symbolized to me the mission of the Home, to reach out to these at-risk young boys and help them put their lives back together, to build themselves up with dignity and a good education. Most of the boys are from severly abusive backgrounds, but there have been some awesome greduates!!
