This is the first of a series of loose as a goose self portraits done without reference to anything other than what happened on the surface as I painted … not even a preliminary sketch.
Just me flying free with intuition, brush stroke and color.
I like this manner of painting – it is very unforgiving but when it works nothing can touch the energetic contact with my natrual primal self.
