James Carter, a native of Detroit, is a virtuoso reed man with a godly mastery of the saxophone. He is in line to join the ranks of the greatest saxophonists in the history of African classical music (jazz). He exudes a musical confidence and world-class showmanship that far exceeds his chrono
I had the pleasure of showing James his portraits. He autographed them both in ink with large signatures. One has a horn symbol he drew, with the signature: James “JC” Carter. The second portrait was autographed: “With Eternal Gratitude”. Upon departing, he gave me a brotherly hug. I was touched by his “down to earth” nature and the gratitude he expressed is undoubtedly mutual. His music transports the soul to the heavens. These 18×24 originals of “JC” are not for sale. The prints with signatures will be posted and available soon.
