The dawn comes, dew adorns the morning,
Crisp cool air surrounds you.
The trees arrayed in a bright palette of color,
Reds, golds, browns, green-
Each as beautiful as the other.
The Earth is shedding her old,
Preparing for Winter’s slumber.
Autumn winds sweep clear Summer’s remains,
Leaving a clean fresh slate to start over again.
Autumn tucks Winter to bed,
The Earth needs to replenish and rest.
Falls leaves enrich the soil once more,
Readying for Winter to awake at Spring’s door.
