Created the background fractal cave on Chaos Pro.
Drew the mermaid and some of the creatures using oil pastels and markers. Used Gimp to manipulate the pic and complete it.

Below is my description of Serenity Sea, but I wanted to share a touch of humor. This really is my personal fantasy, since a young child, I always wanted to be a mermaid. I use to stay hours and hours in the water hoping I would grown fins and could swim away somewhere. If you look at MANY of my pics, I mention my love for bodies of water and the peace they give me.
