I cannot thank all of you enough for the love, the prayer, the support, and the kindness you have shown me during this time of recovery. You have helped give me motivation and drive to push myself and not give up.
I wish you all a wonderful and blessed Easter. It is truly a time of celebration. For we know that Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, became the sacrificial lamb. His blood was spotless and pure. The final and lasting atonement for our sins. Never again will blood have to be shed. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
Christ’s blood was The Righteous Blood, The Blood That Washed Away the Sins of Man. When Christ died on the tree, His Precious blood was crying out to all mankind, “This Blood, this Righteous Blood is for you!”
Think about it, I bet Satan was doing a victory dance when Christ cried, “It is finished!” from the cross. He was thinking he was all big and bad and that he had just defeated the Son of God. But the joke was on him. It was the biggest mistake Satan ever made. For Jesus descended, fought Death, Hell, and the Grave. Took the keys…and then on that third day, the voice of the Father said, “Arise My Son!”
And the angels rolled back the stone and the Living Savior arose with victory for us all.
You know I’ve always imagined what the expressions on the faces of Mary, Peter, and John looked liked when the angels told them, “Why seek ye the living among the dead, for He is Not here, He has risen just like He said.”
The love of the cross is immeasurable. A love so great that He willing endured whippings, beatings, piercings, mockings. Brutality beyond description, but each time that whip tore skin, flesh, and muscle spattering blood…love was growing. Where each drop fell love and forgiveness grew…and its seeds multilipled for eternity so there would always be love and forgiveness for future mankind…and a reuniting with Our Father.
