Hi, my name is Davide Ferrari and I am a self-taught freelance photographer born in Sassuolo (Mo), Italy, in 1985. My father conveyed me the passion for photography when I was a little child and we were shooting with his cameras, an old analogic Ricoh and a Polaroid.
With the digital-camera age my passion popped up and I’ve started carrying with me my first compact camera, a Sony DSC-730 given to me by my sister. Then I bought a Canon EOS 350D and now I’m exploring any kind of photography, from street to macro.
I’m just an amateur but I hope to improve my skills as well as I can. I like to shoot and process some of my photos with the HDR technique, but I also like to shoot everything that catches my eye.
I use photography to sensitize the audience on real problems we’re going to face in the next years. Photography can be a powerful weapon, giving people a new and loud voice of freedom.
At the moment I’m working with a couple of rock bands and on an architecture project, with which I aim to change the classic point of view on our usual workplaces and business into a challenge between men, steel and nature.
