I awoke at about 1am in the morning to see/hear this critter crunching away like the sound of chippies on this bug. He was on the corner of the ceiling.
I figured he was doing me a favour so made him a star by grabbing my camera and taking his photo.
i originally thought it was a stuffed reptile, so to know its real makes the shot ten fold better, might wana keep the dude around if your getting insects of that size around often
Lucky it was while on holiday and not in my house :) I first heard him scurrying up the iron wall so that’s why I had time to capture him. Thanks.
Dammit. I thought cockroaches were going to rule the world. Now I have to change my way of thinking. It’s obviously going to be the Gekko’s that take over. When I was living on a tropical island (true story) these things gave you a moving ceiling to look at every night as you drifted off. I always hoped I didn’t sleep with my mouth open though.
