The Bugcatcher by

Yes, I’ve been away….with this little fellow.

I awoke at about 1am in the morning to see/hear this critter crunching away like the sound of chippies on this bug. He was on the corner of the ceiling.

I figured he was doing me a favour so made him a star by grabbing my camera and taking his photo.

i originally thought it was a stuffed reptile, so to know its real makes the shot ten fold better, might wana keep the dude around if your getting insects of that size around often

  • Lucky it was while on holiday and not in my house :)
I first heard him scurrying up the iron wall so that’s why I had time to capture him.
    Thanks.

    Dammit.
I thought cockroaches were going to rule the world.
Now I have to change my way of thinking.
It’s obviously going to be the Gekko’s that take over.
When I was living on a tropical island (true story) these things gave you a moving ceiling to look at every night as you drifted off. I always hoped I didn’t sleep with my mouth open though.

  • I would never have been able to sleep!

Oh I don’t know if that is correct! I think it might be gecko… sorry for leading you astray and not double checking my spelling!

  • Nah, you were right :))
