It’s been a week and the group is ripping along, faster than expected. Just a friendly reminder to all posters, as per rules, please limit your posts to two per day. I’m toying with the idea of limiting the total posts per member to 20. Still undecided whether to go down this path. I’ll have a go at picking out feature work real soon.

Looking at doing a feature on some of the work on the group. I’ve been thinking of choosing a sub theme but this being the first time I think I’ll just stick to the best work. I’ll try to give it a go this week end.

Hi everyone
Thanks for the wonderful works posted on the After Dark group. I’ve selected our first ten featured artists, out of >100 members now and still growing strong. For those that didn’t make the feature, please accept my apologies. Note: The features were selected based on the visual apeal of the works through my frantic browsing of the ten pages of art. This is not a reflection of quality of the rest of the works and indeed, there are some works where I could just keep on looking at and they just keep on growing on me. It’s all excellent work. I now know why other moderators bombard members with voting invites because it is very difficult to do on your own. The feature will stay up for a couple of weeks before we select other works and artists. Keep up the good work.

Hi all, the group is going great. Been getting excessive multiple posts at one time, greater than the two per day as is stated in the rules. I have started rejecting posts purely based on numbers submitted in one time. Typically how it works is as follows:
- A user posts 3 or more posts at one time
- Myself or a co-host will review of the pics posted for approval by that user for approval, and pick the two best ones and reject the rest
At the moment this action is being administered at the hosts discretion, and only gets invoked when multiple postings happen a lot, which is not often but does seem to be increasing lately.
If you find one of your pics rejected for some reason, please don’t be disheartened, it’s on a group, and which has to be managed with some rules.
