I’m an artist and illustrator working at the York Daily Record/Sunday news. I love everything about the fine arts, painting, drawing, music and dance, but especially working in clay sculpture or ceramics. I really just enjoy working with my hands when I make art, and getting messy, but I do think that the computer is a useful tool for artists. I love to read, write poems, short stories and good old fashioned snail mail letters. I enjoy scrap booking, going to plays and concerts, watching movies (any genre but horror or gore). I really enjoy music, (especially U2) and I’ve always loved to sing, even though I’m really not the best at it! I run and swim and take walks every chance I get. I feel at home and at one with nature and the Lord when I’m at the beach or in the woods. But I also enjoy the thrill of a bustling city. I love learning about languages and culture and I traveling to new places. I’m trying to become fluent in Italian, and then pick up Spanish as well. I really enjoy food, making it, eating it and sharing it. I like learning how to cook new dishes and then try out my experiments on willing friends and family.
