Lake Myvatn, Iceland

This image is the result of a freak snowstorm that swept through the area suddenly on the 9th/10th of September 2012. It was reported to be Icelands’ worst snow storm in 15 years and it took out the power for several hours/days in some regions. Teams worked around the clock to restore power and services, and rescue animals trapped under several feet of snow. It was an experience Ill never forget!
