Sunrise this morning at Beachmere, QLD.

I chose to get up despite the nippy cold that has finally come to SEQ to herald the start of autumn/ winter, and head to a favourite spot for sunrise. Leaving the city, the sky was clear, upon heading north, it was clear that higher level clouds were to be seen, goodie.

These clouds lit up the morning sky like swathes of after-thoughts by a hap-hazard artist, added gently by the trees on water at high tide, and me, thigh deep in water, legs soon numb after a mere 5 minutes.

The solitude of those trees make the photo seem so surreal. Good work! :)
