Fields of Fury
The first storm of the season for Brisbane.
A much hotter day than usual for winter, brisbane sweltered while this big beauty was brewing. Most taking a public holiday, I slaved it away in my office, watching the weather around me form like a clay model.
I had seen this one coming, In the short time between grabbing my camera gear and darting out the door, i briefly stole a glance at the weather radar, and off I was, as I so frequently did in summer. I headed south.

Nicely caught Mel ! Kudos for getting out there in it.
I was waiting impatiently all day for this storm, but still missed out capturing anything worthwhile. It was a little too south for me.

Nice one. I watched the flashes to the north and hoped it’d swing to the coast.
