**This was the first painting I created after my son was born, so I thought it fitting to name it after him: Jackson. It had been almost a year since I picked up a paintbrush because I devoted all of my time to him (please see me story in my bio).

It is a piece inspired not by emotional pain but inspired truly by healing. After several years of emotional anguish due to my inability to conceive and after years of healing that pain through painting and ultimately giving birth to my beautiful son, I was finally able to paint with a fresh perspective. A blissful perspective brought on by three things… painting, time and the miracle of life!
