My friend Katherine should know what this is, but I edited it from the one we wrote together, adding more detail and such. Here we go…
Rain pounded down on what seemed like the entire world. Narrow alleys and cobbled streets were soaked through to the cobbled streets beneath torrents of unpure rainwater. A tall apartment complex towered in the semi-darkness, housing many rooms of which most were empty. A girl sat alone in apartment 201, perched on an old-fashioned bronze chair, staring out of the veranda into the downpour. She was wearing all black, clothes merging together in the darkness. Her deep red eyes reflected the little moonlight atop catlike pupils.
Outside on the balcony stood another girl; an older, taller and more mature looking female. She stood stock still as though unaffected by the rain, her extremely long black-brown hair blowing around her slightly. She had a crimson red flash in her long side fringe and she was wearing a white catsuit. A pair of kaiken blades crossed the small of her back in a double scabbard. She was leaning on the railing of the balcony with a perfectly calm expression, almost bored.
