I have been writing my spiritual memoirs for a while now. The title is, “The Middle World Chronicles: An Illustrated Spiritual Memoir.” As you would expect with a memoir, everything in these chronicles is true. This memoir is non-fiction. I raise that point since I have had some of my readers ask me if everything I write about in these chronicles is true…due probably to the nature of my experiences (a lot of the content is non-ordinary).
The Middle World Chronicles is an edited, annotated, and illustrated transcription of my journals. These Middle World Chronicles relate my experiences, beginning in 1986, with inner journeys. I primarily have used the technique of what I call “interactive imagination” to take inner journeys (similar to, and sometimes specifically using, shamanic journey techniques) My purpose for taking these journeys has been and continues to be for spiritual growth by following my higher, inner guidance.
I recently completed the posting of Chapter 9 (which brings me up to date through 1990) and while posting this update to my known readers, it occurred to me that maybe I should also post notices here on my RedBubble journal when I have finished chapters. (New readers, of course would need to begin at the beginning with Chapter 1.) In addition I would like very much to have conversations with anyone who has done similar things or who is interested in this area.
I am making these freely available in the hope that my experiences can be of benefit to others who may want to pursue inner journeys of their own in order to contact and interact with higher aspects of themselves and/or other sources of positive inner guidance. If you should pursue this approach to spiritual growth, your experiences will be different from mine. I am under no illusion that I have found any form of truth other than my own and I always try to maintain an attitude of “open-minded skepticism” in regard to my own experiences and discoveries, as there are many pitfalls in this area. I.e. Proceed at your own risk, but it is a really good deal when things work well!
