“There is hardly enough time or words to sum up Vincent Price properly. He held a variety of jobs beyond his acting career, he was a teacher, a collector of art and a chef to name a few. He had a true philanthropists heart and he was a man of many talents and a creative pioneer. He has left a fingerprint on our society and myself. In my portrait of Vincent, in every wrinkle I reproduced, in every mole I fastidiously drew and in every single hair I portrayed, I see his achievements. I wanted my portrait of Vincent Price to act like a vehicle to transport you back to the last film you may have seen him in and capture that vivid memory. When I see an image of Vincent I can still hear his voice speaking.” – Carrie Jackson
